Mikael Gustafsson is a stylized environment artist with over 10 years of experience creating game worlds in Unity. His work spans concept art, environment design, and visual direction for multiple indie projects, including serving as Art Director on the survival game Among Trees.
In this course, he shares the practical techniques and workflows he uses to create polished, professional-quality stylized environments.

Unity. The workflow is demonstrated using tools shipped with the engine (URP). No paid plugins are required to follow along.
Basic Unity knowledge is recommended. You should be comfortable navigating the editor, importing assets and moving around a scene. You do not need prior environment art experience; the course covers the full workflow from empty terrain to final polish.
Yes. The full Unity project and the final scene files are included, so you can open the finished world, inspect every setting and use it as a reference while building your own.
